I've been an animal lover my entire life, and there hasn't been a single day that I haven't had dogs or cats (usually both). I grew up in a home where our dogs and cats were not just pets, they were members of the family!
I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2003 with a degree in art (emphasis in photography and graphic design) and minor in zoology. That might sound like a strange combination, I know, but I was (and still am) fascinated by both subjects! Today I feel very fortunate that I've been able to combine my love of animals and photography into what I consider to be the best job ever.
My husband and I live in Baltimore with our rescued border collie, Keira, two grouchy but lovable tabby cats named Simba and Rajah, and there's often a foster dog or two in the mix as well. I have a soft spot for pit bulls, though we'll foster just about any kind of dog in need. Our pets are our kids, and we don't know what we'd do without them!
One of my favorite things about this job is having the privilege of meeting so many people who are just as passionate about their pets as I am about mine. I would be honored to photograph your furkids!
